2010 International Energy Workshop

The 2010 International Energy Workshop will be organised in cooperation with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, and will be held from June 21st to 23rd 2010.

About KTH
KTH accounts for one-third of Sweden’s technical research and engineering education capacity at university level. Education and research cover a broad spectrum – from natural sciences to all the branches of engineering as well as architecture, industrial engineering and management, urban planning, work science and environmental engineering. In addition to the research carried out by KTH’s Schools, a large number of both national and local Competence Centres are located at KTH.

KTH was founded in 1827 and the main campus has been located in attractive historical buildings in central Stockholm since 1917. The buildings are now protected as historical heritage. Call for Papers

The deadline for paper submission is February 15th, 2010.

Researchers and practitioners in developed and developing countries are invited to submit original papers with new and innovative results on scientific or practical experiences that focus on the following main topics:

  • Climate change - mitigation and adaptation
  • Energy and transport modelling
  • Economics of Low Carbon Technologies

Selected papers will be presented and discussed in thematic sessions, circulated during the meeting and also posted at the meeting website.


Submission of papers

Full papers or long abstracts (minimum 1000 words) in .pdf version should be submitted by e-mail to info@internationalenergyworkshop.org before February 15th, 2010 together with the following information in the mail text:

- title of the work;
- specify if it is a paper or a long abstract;
- JEL classification code;
- presenting author (name and surname) if the paper is selected;
- presenting author's personal data (affiliation, country, e-mail);
- co-authors (names and surnames).

Please note that each person can present only one selected paper. If you want to submit more than one paper we kindly ask you to give us the above information for each paper.

Final papers will be due 1 month before the meeting for being posted on the meeting website.


Program Committee

The selection of the submitted papers and long abstracts is made by the IEW Program Committee, which includes the IEW co-directors and the 2010 co-organisers.
